We had a wonderful Mother’s Day.
Don, Gam, Rye, Rye’s friend and I all swam in the ocean for hours, played board games, went out to eat, got ice cream, and then went and visited this cemetery. Honestly, this cemetery is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time. Rye and his friend (who is like a family member) really enjoyed reading the tombstones as they are really are old and unusual. Some of the people were in the confederate army and others were killed in sea accidents dating back to the early 1800’s. And they were shocked at the number of infant graves. Anyway, the whole thing gave us all such a spiritual feeling and really looked like the cemetery in the movie “Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil” (in a good way, of course). It was a really special experience.
