I picked up this gelato on a whim the other day when I was buying ice cream for my husband and thought I needed something different for myself. Why not live a little, right? All I can say now that I’ve tried it is that if you have not tried this frozen dairy wonder, try it. It is so good. Good, I say.
The gelato dairy base is super creamy and has the flavor of fresh mint. It’s quite different than the usual mint flavor base of ice cream and much better. It tastes really fresh. The tiny chocolate pieces in it are bittersweet chocolate. And they are great. All around it’s just really good.
Now, is it like gelato you will have in Italy? Well, that’s debatable. But this one you can get at your local grocery store and that makes it very appealing to me.
