Don, Rye and I headed to the mountains this weekend. Just the three of us. No friends, no computers, no internet. I can’t tell you how nice it was to get a change of scenery. The weather was very cool and crisp and ‘fall-ish’. We watched movies, played board games and Don and Rye played video games. We ate awesome sandwiches, great pizza and caramel apples. It was great. And even though we were only there for a day and a half, it was worth the trip. It gave us all a chance to exhale and regroup. I think we all wished we could have stayed for longer but alas, life and work and school called us back home. Oh well, perhapes we’ll get back there at some point this year. I hope so.
