Someone close to me used to own this house. The one with the minotaurs out front. The house did not come with the minotaurs out front but rather they were built to live at that house. For that house. They are anatomically correct so I won’t zoom in on them but they are incredible pieces of art. In fact, the house itself was an incredible piece of art. It was fabulous inside. I lived in this house for a summer after I graduated from undergraduate school. I had the top floor of the house to myself which was originally the maid/nanny quarters. It was a really fun summer.
The house owner has since moved and taken the minotuars. They now now live in the country. But really, to me, the minotaurs will always belong in Chicago.
