Homeschooling is going well for us. Life is so much calmer now. I am loving it.
It’s funny, though. Sometimes Rye’s friends ask me why we are homeschooling now (in case you don’t follow the blog, we just recently went back to homeschooling after about a year in public school). I explain to them that because Rye isn’t really like this (and they all know, he is definitely his own person):
Homeschooling gives us the freedom to be a little more like this if we need to (figuratively speaking, of course):
That’s cool, they say.
And then most of them tell me they wish they could homeschool too.
Who knew?

I’m thrilled that it’s going so well!
So take them all into your dining room, teach them all and see how well you can do with them. THEN, apply to be a charter school–you will need a “schtick” to get approved as a charter school, maybe your schtick can be “my students can read and write when I am done.”
Just a suggestion.
You are funny. And you greatly overestimate the amount of patience I have. The only kind of school I would want to run would be the School of Rock
I like those cookie cutters – I would really like to order the limbless ones…
