So, normally I really love Halloween.
I love the costumes, the candy, the whole fantasy piece of it and the fall feel of it.
This year, however, things are a little different.
A couple of weeks ago I lost one of my favorite relatives in the world to heart disease. She was young – not even retirement age. I have been devastated by that.
Then yesterday Don had a heart attack and is now in the hospital – he is in his early 30’s. Now I am double-devastated and have that slowing of the senses one gets when things get very overwhelming.
I don’t know – maybe this Halloween is too scary for me now.
Luckily, it looks like Don will be ok. He will be out of the hospital on Monday or Tuesday. Until then, though, I am only half.
I’m praying and praying and from this I know we will get an answer of how to change our lives for the better and have less stress. There is always a light.
The sound of this video is very poor quality as half of it is missing…seems fitting
Happy Halloween and here’s hoping for a better year to come!
